Jo Hall

Jo Hall is now an active independent investor and advisor. Her prior 11 years serving as Chief Commercial Officer of Toys “R” Us Asia, responsible for the commercial development and strategy across the company’s 10 Asian markets - driving differentiation, meaningful customer experience and thought-leadership while fuelling the imagination of children and families across the Asia region.

Jo’s passion for retailing started at Marks & Spencer plc in London over 30 years ago, after which she joined an embryonic Toys “R” Us UK as the iconic brand was rapidly expanding its footprint across the UK & European markets. She went on to be appointed to the Board of Woolworths plc as Commercial Director and later moved to the Far East as Managing Director of the Woolworths Asia sourcing office based in Hong Kong. In 2009 she established her own product design and manufacturing business in China, before re-uniting with the Toys “R” Us global family in 2012.

Now focussing on investment opportunities, Board advisory roles and helping start-ups while mentoring great female leaders of the future.

Jo is a mad keen fitness enthusiast with an infectious energy for all things retail.
