Clare Chan

Clare is one of the co-founders of Her Velvet Vase, a fashion e-commerce company. 

She started the business with her sister and co-founder when she was 19 and currently oversees business development, retail expansion and customer experience. 

Her Velvet Vase operates on a vertically integrated model and their apparels are designed in-house and produced direct from boutique factories. 

They were the first local store to introduce a fashion subscription model and several years ago Her Velvet Vase expanded to New York via B2B. More recently, the brand has also shifted from pure ecommerce into omni-channel via retail stores in Singapore and Malaysia. 

The Her Velvet Vase ethos is rooted strongly in creating memories and celebrating milestones and the team works hard to build an online and offline shopping experience that is thoughtful, inclusive and supportive.
